Working Principle

​

As the catheter slides into the airway through the T-shaped connector, the breathing circuit maintains a closed connection. The negative pressure valve is activated to generate suction to clear secretions, and upon completion, the catheter retracts into the protective sheath. The automatic flushing system is now activated: sterile saline creates a high-speed vortex within the turbulent chamber, thoroughly flushing the inner wall and tip of the catheter. The hinged valve simultaneously closes to isolate the contaminated area, achieving a closed-loop process of "zero exposure operation - automated cleaning." Throughout the entire process, the ventilator maintains continuous airflow, and the patient's blood oxygen saturation fluctuates by no more than 2%.

Operation method

1. Wear sterile gloves and check the sealing and expiration date of the packaging

2. Connect the T-connector between the ventilator circuit and the artificial airway

3. Unlock the safety buckle and slowly advance the catheter to the predetermined scale

4. Press the control valve with your thumb to suction (single time ≤ 15 seconds)

5. Release the valve and fully retract the catheter until a "click" sound is heard indicating locking.

6. Connect the syringe and inject 10ml of normal saline to activate automatic flushing

7. Observe whether the secretions are discharged into the collection bottle. Dispose of them as medical waste after the operation.
